3 Sisters Viaduct

When creating the Somerton extension I wanted a bridge. However the line called for a double track rather than single so the girder bridge I had in stock was out of the question. The original viaduct was created from thermalite blocks laid in the gap, with an arch carved in the front. This was fine until the lack of drainage became apparent. It has since been replaced with a cast in situ concrete one with 4 arches instead of 3!
